"Melbourne’s Post Hardcore/screamo act City Escape are getting together for a reunion show in honour of their late friend and former band member Chris "Winny" Winstone.
The agenda is simple, fans, friends and family all together to enjoy the night in honour of Chris and to celebrate 15 years of their debut EP "Avalanches" which kicked off a successful touring career back in 2010.
"This is not a memorial, it is a celebration of an extremely talented musician who was integral in bringing to life City Escape throughout our active years. We know he will be there on stage with us on the night" says the band.
All proceeds from the show will be donated to Beyond Blue in hopes of promoting more awareness around mental health and addiction issues.
City Escape will perform their Avalanches EP in full as well as demo songs from their early era."
